am new to the forum and having trouble with the internal SD card reader. I have XP installed on the SSD and used the tool to create the image. The card reader does not work for either of my 2GB cards or the 16 GB card that I am going to use to transfer XP. When I used Partedmagic, it just keeps scanning for devices and does not stop. When I use fdisk -l, it will list the SSD and the SDHC card.

This happened after I tried to boot from the SDHC card. All I got was a blank screen with blinking cursor. I originally used Partedmagic to partition the SDHC card to the same size as SSD, per instructions, and it worked fine. After the remaining steps, which also seemed to work fine, I tried to boot from SDHC with no success. Went back to Partedmagic to essentially start over, figuring I did something wrong. Now it won't find any of the devices. XP boots fine from the SSD, and I used both dd commands listed in the instructions when trying to transfer XP to SDHC.

Any ideas? Do I need to totally start over and re-install Linux to SSD and go from there or is it possible to salvage what I have done so far.

Thanks for the help!!
